Hot on the heels of defeating Ifrit, our adventurers are ambushed by recruiters from Eorzea's Grand Companies. These groups are combined economic, industrial, and military forces that serve their respective city-state. Ah, the twins. It’s fascinating to see them like this. It’s a pretty good snapshot of them, too. Alphinaud is so insufferablly assured that he is right, which makes sense given broader context; he’s essentially a college kid who just learned about systemic injustice and thinks he has an answer for it. Alisaie, on the other hand has a more practical ideal, though it’s still idealistic. Their development has come s long way.
