When their order, the Fist of Rhalgr, was scattered it may have spelled the end for this discipline entirely except for a few surviving practitioners. Our Pugilist Warrior of Light stumbles across one of these disciples; he lures us in with the promise of martial mastery but we end up ensnared in his machinations. After a long but ultimately successful investigation, we have found the culprits behind the troubles in Thanalan. We get more than we bargained for though as the conclusion thrusts us into a direct confrontation with the Lord of the Inferno. Ep 27: Dressed to Deceive

The first mission with the Scions of the Seventh Dawn puts us in the role of investigator. Someone is feeding information to the Amalj'aa, allowing them to hit caravans and kidnap civilians with ease. During our search for clues we pound the cobblestones in Camp Drybone, shake down Nald'thal clergy members, and scour the desert for leads.

Following the War of the Magi and ensuing calamity, Black Mages were persecuted and the surviving practitioners were forced to hide their art.
